I just looked on the "One Eyed Cormorant" thread and the lyrics I saw dinner time (just before I posted here) are gone. So I have to conclude we have had emergency down time on Mudcat. And my post was at the cutting edge. I no longer feel responsible. Phew that was close.

er I cannot tell a lie - it was me. I dunno what I did but I typed it in by hand and presumed it took. If I missed a quote or a triangular bracket I appologise. It was at work. I thought my modem was crunched but as U can see it is OK. I was pointing to my site as a starting point to get to folklondon via Martin Nails site. cresby.com will get there almost as well.
you will have to excuse me I have some humble pie to eat just after I don the sack cloth & ashes ...........

I am not sure what the GUEST who posted earlier did with html, but the post was locking up the thread in Netscape. When I tried to Edit the Message, it went to a blank page, so I am copying the posting here. Guest, if you see this, please paste in the addy you wanted linked and I'll make a cliquey for it, okay? Thanks, all!

folklondon.???
Martin Nails site lists a lot of things nationally so folklondon would be there, and Folkroots can't remember the URL but I point to them at

Thanks to all. Can't promise this week, as I don't have instruments with me - maybe next week.

I know Uxbridge, Islington and Stratford, so I should be able to find you all.

There's a new club in Acton on Wednesday's and the Islington Folk Club on Thursday's. If you'd like to join and Irish session on Thursday's come along to the Old Black Bull in Stratford (just by the old town hall)in the Broadway.

Have just started a contract in London, and would like to know of any clubs (in London) who meet on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Alternatively Morris sides who practice on these nights (I am a Box player).
