Good point, but keep in mind that we would be stressing quantity rather than quality. Also, timing is important. Yu send the junkies in during the early stages of withdrawl in which there is more of a psychological craving and fear of withdrawl rather than combat inhibiting physical symptoms that come with advnaced withdrawl. Then you would have some killing machines with a sense of purpose.

Given that heroin withdrawl symptoms include: dilated pupils, piloerection, tremors, panic, chills, nausea, muscle cramps and insomnia, I hardly think your 'jonesing' addicts will make very good soldiers.

Do you?

Does anyone know the extent to which the bombing in Afghanistan is hurting the poppy crop as well as the overall flow of product? If people think that Americans are pissed off now, just wait until about ten million of us start Jonesing. Then there won;t be a need for the Northern Alliance or Special Forces. Just arm a couple million junkies and point them toward the poppies.
