latest info...
you can find the web cast archive
from the 2007 Cowboy poetry and music
gathering on line at the Folk Life's site.

watch footage from the headliner concerts
in Elko, Nevada on Jan 31-Feb 3.

Enjoy! (with compliments of one of the camera
operators....me!!)

Elko is cool--like below freezing cool, single digits Farenheit,
cool, so enjoy this from the warm confort of your home!

also see Hal Cannon's radio report on the Cowboy Train
(with Tom Russel, et al) across Canada in November, 2006.

Well Kat, I actually had you in mind when I added it; though I know there are others interested in cowboy lore as well.

I've added the Western Folklife Center to the links page. The site is subtitled "Cowboy Poets on the Internet" and among other things has several hours of cowboy stories, poetry and songs recorded in January, 2001, at The 18th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada.
