Subject: Way out west in Kansas From: GUEST,cschamau@mines.edu Date: 08 Nov 01 - 01:52 PM I had a friend who learned to play guitar in the 1930's and collected folk songs. We used to love singing songs around the campfire & such. He sang one which he called "Way Out West in Kansas" which had funny lyrics. An example is about how it was so hot the popcorn popped in the field and his mule thought it was snow & froze to death. Can anyone help me with lyrics (& chords) to this? I'd love to teach it to my kids! Thanks, Connie |
