Looks a lot like various friends I had at the time...

What I miss about the 70's is there was a lot less poverty and insecurity, and I had a younger, more flexible body.

That picture needs a caption...

something like...

"Young Brian's initiation into adulthood wasn't going to be half s fun as he had hoped"

LOL!!!

the Geoshittys fix for that is to add a "?" to the end of the url... works for yahoo most times too...

Judging by the jar next to him, "sleep" is possibly the wrong word. "Unconsciousness" perhaps...

I did as Jon said and saw the referenced link with a different color from the rest, indicated my computer had been there already. Sure enough, it also came up as "page not available." Now what do I do to see the pic?

God, that's David Grier?

I get to talk to him occaisionally at Strawberry. I'll have to make a copy of this. Even if I don't see him I have some friends who know him who get ahoot out of the picture.

I just wonder what was in the cooler next to the guy on the ground.

Totally irratic here... The only sure way I have found seems to be to go to http://www.geocities.com/chiefnoda/pict/ and choosing cwdg.jpg from the directory listing. I have no idea why it is working like that.

Weird. The same URL works as a link from its original location, but not from here....

I'm not bright enough for this stuff.

Peter.

One of the Flatpick list regulars put this up, and I thought it should be shared. The never-to-be-sufficiently-mourned Clarence White, and a very young David Grier, attempting not to wake a fellow who has decided he needed a nap. Those were the days when people knew how to enjoy themselves at a bluegrass festival!

Peter.
