Subject: Lyr Add: PROHIBITION IS A FAILURE (?)

I'm trying to figure out the source of folk song that a friend of mine sings (he doesn't have a phone and lives in another state -- long story). If anyone knows whether it's traditional or if someon owns the rights, let me know: fethalexabroad@hotmail.com. Muchos Gracias. The lyrics go something like this:

Prohibition is a Failure as anyone can see
For whiskey's sold in every town in the good ol' USA
The policeman may arrest you and put you in the jail
But then he'll drink up all your liquor boys and let you out on bail

I'm going back to Georgia to join the drinking clan
Where whiskey's made with red seal lye and sold in old tin cans
The men all drink and gamble, the women fuss and fight
The saloons are run right open and a man's killed every night.

The moonshiners in the mountains, they operate the stills
They're true and blue to each other, what they say they'll do they will.
They all carry six shooters, shotguns, and bowie knives
And the man that tries to raid them will surely lose his life.
