Just called 'Blue Horses' last I heard - the 'cantering' was presumably a description. From Cardiff, I think, a folk-rock outfit fronted by the two fiddlers, reknowned for displaying a hell of a lot more talent than clothes.

I happened across a photo of a group (or at least a duo) called "Blue Horses Cantering" at the Otley (Yorkshire) Folk Festival site. Appears to have a pair of red-haired female fiddle players (what's not to like?). Anyone know of this act?
