There's loads going on, but if we know where you are we can point you in the right direction. I was down at the Peveril last night with me mum. It was good, the beer was excellent as was the music. Subject: RE: Help: Sessions in Manchester From: Dave the Gnome Date: 04 Dec 01 - 06:34 PM Peveril of the Peak - Tuesdays. Good Irish and 'world music' session, or at least it was a few months ago! Not a session as such but come along to the White Lion or Ducie Arms for the mudcat gathering this weekend to meet some local folky folks! Click on Manchester Mudcat Meet? for more details. Cheers Dave the Gnome |
Subject: RE: Help: Sessions in Manchester From: Noreen Date: 04 Dec 01 - 12:09 PM Jolly Angler, Ducie Street behind Piccadilly station has a good Irish session on Friday/Saturday nights. There were 3 Uillean pipers playing, with several other musicians, last time I was there- and they were good. Lots of sessions to be had in the area, Emma. I'm sure others will come up with more, current details. Noreen |
