Subject: RE: BS: Whitby UK New Year From: Peter Kasin Date: 18 Dec 01 - 02:23 AM Argyle House is another good Inn if the others mentioned are full. It's within easy walking distance from the quay and, in the other direction, the pavilion theatre. chanteyranger |

Subject: RE: BS: Whitby UK New Year From: Raggytash Date: 17 Dec 01 - 06:47 PM Sory Mrs Duck. didn't respond very well to your call. Have you tried Steve & Lyn at the Black Horse. They normally charge about £10 per adult per night, and are very accomodating with children. The Endeavour, John & rosie may be worth a call too, as they have several rooms. The Plough also has Family rooms, although with the twins it may be a little noisy. Cheers Raggytash |

Subject: RE: BS: Whitby UK New Year From: Raggytash Date: 17 Dec 01 - 06:38 PM All being well, the Wombat and I will be up for New Years Eve, Sadly I have to work in the morning and be back in on the second. But the caravan will need a mid-winter inspection, so please don't start the treasure hunt without us. ETA 3.00pmish Raggytash |

Subject: RE: BS: Whitby UK New Year From: Noreen Date: 17 Dec 01 - 02:34 PM Can't help with accomm, sorry Mrs Duck, but would like to know what's going on musicwise in Whitby over the New Year. I'll be staying in Robin Hood's Bay for a few days around the turn of the year, and would like to meet up and have a sing if anyone's around. Noreen |

Subject: Whitby UK New Year From: Mrs.Duck Date: 17 Dec 01 - 12:31 PM Having decided we couldn't afford a week in Whitby for the New Year we would really like to get up for 31st and 1st but are having problems finding anywhere to stay. We are bringing Maddie and the twins but the others are staying at home. If anyone knows somewhere that might have a room (we can all share) we would be very grateful for the info. The tourist board were useless!!!! |
