Subject: RE: BS: The Yool was Cool From: Cappuccino Date: 27 Dec 01 - 02:51 PM I don't believe it... a couple of days away over Christmas, and I return to find donations and pledges are still coming in. People really are terrific, aren't they? - Ian

Subject: The Yool was Cool From: Cappuccino Date: 24 Dec 01 - 05:41 AM Can I just offer thanks to all those Catters, both sides of the Atlantic, who took a practical interest in the recording of Caleb's Cool Yule, the CD/cassette in aid of our charity, Health Help International. To the several people who suggested the song 'Mary, Did You Know?', special thanks – it has been a showstopper, particularly in the live events. And people have been incredibly generous. A certain Catter in eastern England was personally responsible for a collection of over a hundred pounds… thanks, schoolteacher. When Catter Jeannie and I played the show 'live' to a small church fellowship of perhaps 30 people yesterday, they gave the charity another hundred pounds. A couple of Catters simply popped money into an envelope… including one mailing of some English notes from a New York address. Thanks, friend. For a good cause, people are wonderful, aren't they? Many thanks to you all. Oh ****, I'm getting emotional about it. - Ian B |
