Subject: RE: Help: DVD/PC technical advice needed From: Joe Offer Date: 07 Feb 02 - 07:45 PM Hi, Big Daddy - you also have to have a video card that will display DVD video, and a computer fast enough to handle it. Before you go out and get a DVD drive for your computer, make sure your computer is up to it - if it's newer than 3 years old, it should probably be OK. Mine plays DVD's wonderfully, with a high-quality screen display and terrific sound. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: RE: Help: DVD/PC technical advice needed From: Amergin Date: 07 Feb 02 - 07:34 PM well...you need a dvd rom drive for starters....and drivers for it....that should be enough.... one more thing though...the more ram you have the clearer the picture is when you enlarge it..... |

Subject: DVD/PC technical advice needed From: GUEST,BigDaddy Date: 07 Feb 02 - 07:22 PM I understand one should be able to view DVDs on one's PC. How does this work? Does it require particular software or what? Or do I have to have more than a simple PC? Here's my feeble excuse to make this a "music" thread: I only wanted to view "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" |
