harpgirl Is a song about lawyers gonna make you feel better for the doing?
Wasn't there a thread asking for such recently? Am I being dumb? Was that your thread?
The only folkie lawyer I can say I know much about told me the "How many does it take to change a light bulb?" -
How many can you afford? to which I would add - How long can you wait?

And I want to add my thanks for the "Today in Irish History" pieces I get from Pat. I read them everyday and have learned much from them. And Pat Patterson..............make sure you keep enough distance between us so I don't get hit by the blood spatter!!

Mick

Gee, Thanks Harpgirl. It's folks like yourself who make it worthwhile. Hell, we'd even make 'Spaw welcome if he ever gets his Ohio butt this far south. For any 'Catters who happen to be in the Tallahassee, FL vicinity, it's Fridays, 6-10, at the oM Cafe, 1026 N. Monroe St. It's pretty eclectic, by design, but the focus is on the Irish/Celtic folk. Lots of singing, occasional dancers, story tellers, whatever. We try to emphasize the notion of doing your party piece.

I knew I'd get a smart answer from you, you little pisher! But I really did "go postal" over that one! He's a lawyer too, which comes in very handy...

I would just like to publicly thank Paddymac for starting up a new weekly Irish session in Tallahassee. Ever since the row over "Elite Sessions" and my disagreement with the prevailing local session rule changes and subsequent ouster for being in disagreement, I have longed to be back into the tradition. We have the "fun and friendly" session now and off I go!!!! Thanks Pat!!!
