Subject: RE: New tune for pipes or fiddle From: Shonagh Date: 23 Apr 02 - 02:40 PM nice tune. like the seconds too, if its alright with you, i'll introduce my fiddly and pipery friends to it (we all play in a group together) and maybe we could have an arrangement of it?! i really do like it though. And well done, i know how it feels to finish a tune, and then when other people play it, its feels ace!! |

Subject: New tune for pipes or fiddle From: Barry T Date: 23 Apr 02 - 01:27 AM I've composed my first tune for the pipes, though this one will work equally well on the fiddle. It's intended as a slow march, but it seems to interpret well as anything from a slow air to a modestly quick march.

I'll get ambitious and upload an abc version in a day or so. By the way, I've put this one into the public domain, so play away without restriction, folks! |
