Let's support and contribute to every effort to switch to electric or hydrogen cell power sources. I beleive that the technology is ready, it's a matter of pressure from the people.

As I said, I am limited in my choices. I have NO clue where MiniMart, GasAMat, etc get their gas. We have a Conoco, a Texaco, and a generic Truck Stop besides all the convience store. No Phillips, (and I KNOW they used to buy overseas oil!)no Exxon, no Standard, no Amoco.......

I always buy from "No name" stations. No way will I buy from Exxon or Mobil.

One Company I didn't mention is Phillips Petroleum,they purchase Zero barrels from over seas

When you are in a small town you don't have a lot of choices about where to buy. You can only buy at the companies that have stations in your town........

All I know is that every time I buy gas its a different price and that goes to show that somebody is getting rich somewhere and thats bullshit.

Every time you fill up the car,you can avoid putting more money into the coffer of Saudi Arabia.Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up the tank,I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me,my family and my friends.I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy oil from.Here are some facts about Major oil companies that imported oil from 9/1/00 to 8/31/01
Shell--- 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco---144,332,000 barrels
Exxon/Mobil---130,082/000 barrels
Marathon---117,740/000 barrels
Amoco---62,231,000 barrels
At $ 30.00 a barrel that is over $ 18 billion

Oil Companies that don't buy foreign oil
Citgo 0 barrels
Sunoco O barrels
Sinclair 0 barrels
Conoco 0 barrels> Phillips 0 barrels
