Subject: RE: Some People Are Never Satisfied From: Bill D Date: 21 Apr 98 - 04:57 PM since bookmarks in both systems are in HTML, it is possible to import one set of bookmarks into the other...I just read how to do that the other day, but since I wont open my MSIE3 except in the most dire emergency, I never seem to have worked out the details.... |

Subject: RE: Some People Are Never Satisfied From: Joe Offer Date: 20 Apr 98 - 10:50 PM Hi, John - If I understand your problem correctly, you might get an acceptable solution if you try hitting your "backspace" button instead of clicking on the "forum home" link. -Joe Offer, MSIE Users Anonymous- |

Subject: Some People Are Never Satisfied From: John in Brisbane Date: 20 Apr 98 - 09:01 PM Just back from about ten days away over Easter, and it's great to check base with fellow Mudcatters (or is that Mudcateers?). Had a quick browse and apart from the lively discussion about censorship, one other point sticks in my mind. Every time I finished reading a thread and went Back to the Forum listing, I returned to the top of the queue, and then scrolled down again and again until I resumed my browsing in date order (for 14 days). Am I right in saying that I don't have to be satisfied with my archaic method of browsing, and that there may be a better way. I have cohabited with Internet Explorer, but we're just good friends! I would happily try another relationship if the property settlement allowed me to take my bookmarks with me. Regards John |
