Charlotte (8) and I saw your daughter crossing the campsite at Wheaton Aston - mistook her for a tortoise! Fantastic festival, wasn't it? It was Charlotte's first, and I think, as her grandma, I've shot myself in the foot - I'll never be allowed to go to another one unaccompanied! That'll be a third generation of folkies.

He was with his Dad in the Coach and Horses several times over the weekend. A very promising young performer!

Could it have been James Argylle? Sal came back raving about him and he's going to be at the Open Stage at Bishop's Castle this weekend.

was he from Cannock? If so the challenge is to tell him a joke that makes him laugh. He bet me a £1. I lost!

... Lad. Had a brilliant weekend sso thanks to all concerned. 10yo daughter is now the proud possessor of a portable battering ran that also doubles up as a hard guitar case, eldest lad now has the mandola previously owned by the late George Webbly, banjo player for Aker Bilk's Jazz Band. A query. We were all GREATLY impressed by a 13yo lad playing blues/folk guitar and singing with a confiddence that belied his young age. For future reference, who was he????
