And the list continues. Actor Gordon Wharmby has died of cancer at the age of 68. Know to millions as Wesley Pegden, the oil stained mechanic in the television series "Last of the Summer Wine" he was in 11 series. He also appeared in "Edge of Darkness" and "All Creatures Great and Small." He was due to appear in a new series of "Wine" which is due to begin shooting this weekend. He is survived by his wife. Say "Hello" to Compo.
