I was going but have buggered my back up. may get there later on in the weekend. Its a great line up and the tent is waterproof if it rains. it was a great night out in manchester for all those who got there. we were late after searching most of the pubs on the way there.

Careful Les you might confuse the Americans. I'll be there playing outside the Morris Dancer in the afternoon (weather permitting). I'm not shore which day, either Monday or Tuesday (depends on my lift). You'll not have any problems Identifying me though; I'm the noisy bugger with the Pipes. All the best PP.

Do I have a choice? Couldn't help thinking in that truly awful weather last Friday - round about the time I would have putting my tent up - that I was actually grateful the date had been changed. Really it's enough (well almost) to make one a monarchist even it means no festival birthday this year. Don't forget folks there's an XTRA concert on Monday night (that jubillee thing - you know) For you early birds - see you in the festival office Friday teatime

Rincewynds will be there. We'll start a Mudcat signing in sheet on the stall the same as last year. That way we kept a count of who made it.

Let's hope it's fairly dry - that site can get VERY soggy!!

Not this year - but I've heard very good reports about it.

And aside from that I've got a yearning to try to set up an evening singaround called "Chester song at twilight".
