JeffPat is a wonderful venue. It's far enough from the city lights that you can actually see the Milky Way. I'll be there. Anybody who comes in 1812 era rig gets a $3.00 discount (any excuse to don the Silly Suit!)

Directions are available here. It's about an hour south of the beltway on Route 4. The Pyrates Royale are a fantastic folk group, and I'm not saying that just because Celtic Soul whacks a mean bodhran for them. They mix sea chanteys, other folk music, and liberally sprinkle it with humor. Well worth seeing (but is it worth taking your clothes off for???) ;-)

Hey there, anyone in the Washington DC/Baltimore area...

Short notice, I know, but Jeff Patt Park in Southern Maryland is having it's "Tavern Night" tomorrow night. Lots of fun for all, and a hell of a pretty venue, so if you have the time, come on down and have an ale, and listen to some music.
