Subject: RE: Swanage Festival 6-8 September From: Hamish Date: 02 Sep 02 - 07:33 AM Despite the very poor web-site (i.e. it doesn't say who's on where or anything about sessions - see other thread) it's a lovely festival. Wonderful seaside setting and loads of atmosphere. Big concerts are Show of Hands on the Friday night and Token Women/Flook on the Saturday. There are also various dance workshops and I believe there are some pub sessions on Friday and Saturday. I'm running the open-mic - all singers and performing musicians welcome - on Saturday afternoon in The White Horse. Please drop in and say 'hi' and share a chorus or three... |
