I was going to say that "Whitby Maid" is he only song I know about Whitby. I'm surprised to see it's not in DT.

Not fom your period - I don't think, though there may have been a forerunner.

This is probably an odd request. I'm in the USA, with family (Massengills) from Whitby (left 1653). Any old songs from that era, or songs about Whitby?
