Subject: RE: Looking for music of the Renaissance From: Bruce O. Date: 27 May 98 - 11:18 PM All the known English broadside ballad tunes of the 16th and 17th century are in ABC form on my website, www.erols.com/olsonw. Also for some of the 16th century songs look in my Scarce Songs file and for others also look for the SCA Minstrel homepage, or, nearly the same, go 'back' here, and near the top center of the Mudcat Forum page click on 'Links' then scan down the list to '16th century ballads' and click on it. From that you can click back to the SCA Minstrel homepage and explore. |

Subject: Looking for music of the Renaissance From: Christine Date: 27 May 98 - 10:26 PM Hi. I'm working with a local production of Shakespeare's "Merry Wives of Windsor." I need help in locating music appropriate to the show and some that could be added to a street scene/preshow. I also perform at a Renaissance faire and can always use new material. Thanks in advance for any referrals you can give me. Christine Myers SoletLune@aol.com |
