One COULD print it, fill it out, re-scan, and attach the scan as an e-mail. Another technique is to download the .pdf file, open it in Adobe Illustrator. Fill out the form in Illustrator and then redistill it into a new .pdf. Then e-mail the new .pdf. (NB: this technique requires some graphic skill to understand what I've just said, but if you understand it and have access to Illustrator and Adobe Distiller, the process will probably be pretty easy.)

Mick...it was intended to be printed and mailed...'most' Adobe forms don't work that way...we are expecting to see you, but I think you gotta print it...*grin*

Someone want to explain to me how to fill out the form online and email it? When I try to type in the Adobe PDF form, I can't. Do I have to download it to Word or something?

I am definitely coming and have emailed the chair that I am, but I would like to fill out the form for them.

Well, that says it all. Just wanted to make sure this announcement catches the attention and imparts a sense of urgency to anyone who still hasn't stood up to be counted (for food planning purposes). Here's Charlie's message from the main Getaway thread. I think I've reproduced the blue clickies:

I need to give Ramblewood reasonable accurate figures as to how many are coming, so there will enough food for everyone. If you haven't
registered yet-- you need to let us know NOW!

Check the registration form at
ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM
and fill out a copy for yourself.

Then e-mail
the Getaway registrar
immediately with ALL of the information requested on the form. Once you commit, we'll expect payment, so consider it a financial obligation.

I hope to have a reasonably accurate count by Sunday night, Oct. 13. After that, you might need to come as a daytripper (i.e., we can't guarantee enough food, so you'll have to bring your own or go down to Havre de Grace to dine.)
