I sure enjoyed seeing Rick K. when I was up there a couple of years ago. And I had a lot of fun with you guys when Rick F. was performing there. (And the food was great!)

Why am I posting this? Because I drove through Newmarket, Ontario (Canada) today, stopped at the Corner Coffeehouse, a nice folk club, and saw to my surprise that my old pal Rick Kane is playing there in two days from now.

Yes, Rick plays at 8:00 pm this coming Saturday.

I also posted it because he was astounded the last time his name appeared on Mudcat (much to his surprise...he found out about it secondhand, not having a computer)...and I intend to astound him again.

Hee! Hee!

Now don't get on me for wasting bandwidth! I should think you would all want to know about the Corner Coffeehouse anyway, as more than a few Mudcatters might very well like to get a gig there sometime. Rick Fielding has played there. Ask him. It's an excellent folk venue, though I don't know how good the pay is these days...
