Those that were there did sterling work but we could have done with a another three or four singers/players to get a real atmosphere going. Hope you have a better turnout next Sunday.

Sorry couldn't make it, Rog. Was on way back from Sleaford on me Bike, in unexpected gale force winds, having been forced to return home by power cut in village where Dad lives! Had to return early. Unfortunately not early enough to attend your session. We were waiting to see if the power was gonna come back on! It didn't. Hope session went ok, and hope to see ya next Sunday.

So, where were you all then? There was a conspicuous lack of Johns in the Sun yesterday - plenty of Erics and a scattering of Rogers and Micks but no johns at all.

After speaking to Mick Ossonflags about this, on Friday, due to the fact that many Hull folkies are in Whitby, we have decided to support Roger From Beverleys session at The Sun Inn, opposite the Minster in Beverley, this starts at 4PM and is a good session with songs & tunes.
We are hoping that the Tap & Spile session will continue in some form, and I would like to thank everyone who expressed an interest.
