So now the truth outs! We have waited for months for Amos to get those Mudcat CDs together, all the while, he would give some "sensible" excuse reason for it taking so long.

Now, we see. Amos has been diddling around with OBEs. No telling where the man has been or what private matters he has invaded while out of his body. I shudder to think of it!

Is any one safe with miscreants running around out of their bodies, wreaking havoc upon the lives of the unsuspecting?

What was that?

There have been times, while typing posts to the Forum, that I have felt some "visitation" in my room. A few of those times, I felt my hands typing words that were not formed by my own mind. Upon reading the posted message, I was aghast at what my hands had written and had actually signed "khandu" to the bottom!
There it is again!

Now, I wonder...could it have been Amos jacking with me when he was supposed to be putting those CDs together?

No, no...stop it...! I will not write that...no! goawayggg..oaway nowww I wi..krtqa...................................

Following the links in those articles is like going into What'shisname's Maze, I can feel my brain creaking with the strain of trying to take it all in. One thought occurs to me, if some percentage of humanity has these NDE's what about the rest, the NNDE's. Be interesting to see correlation between NDE and perceived intelligence, intuitiveness, creativity, etc. I do know one thing...my corgis CAN folllow a pointing finger and do so repeatedly when playing ball (there, THERE, you dummies!) so that makes them at least as smart as a robot!

Amos...big topic! And a fascinating one. Have bookmarked all your links for leisurely reading. Being an unreconstructed pagan and an agnostic one at that, this stuff rattles my cage. More things on heaven and earth, Horatio, etc. etc. Thanks for the post. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then open mindedness is closer yet!

Wired magazine presents a nice summary of one of the themes that pops up here from time to time, the material brain vice more transcendental models of how life works in the world.

The article is on this page, and reports current reserarch into the validity and nature of those strange perceptions people report while brain-dead.(Don't go there, Spaw...).

About ten to twenty per cent of people who have been resuscitated from clinical death report active consciousness of the room and events in it they "could not" have recorded physically.
