Subject: RE: Looking for fiddle tune'workman'? From: Sorcha Date: 20 Nov 02 - 11:07 AM I did not find a tune called Men at Work, but apparently they are a band. Will look for Cunning Workmen, thanks! |

Subject: RE: Looking for fiddle tune'workman'? From: Sorcha Date: 18 Nov 02 - 06:35 PM Talked to the friend today, and he said the name was not as long as the Aly Bain tune, and it is definitely E Dorian; standard 16 bar tune. |

Subject: Looking for fiddle tune'workman'? From: Sorcha Date: 18 Nov 02 - 11:03 AM OK, my turn to ask for help, please. A friend heard a fiddle tune that had "workman" in the title.......either E minor or E dorian; said it would be nice with Road to Lisdoonvarna and Swallowtail Jig. Seems Aly Bain does one called Shack's Farewell to the Workman's Club but I can't find it anywhere (except on CD's). Does anyone know this tune, and could that be the one I am looking for? If not, does anyone have any other clues as to what I am actually looking for? Thanks! |
