Subject: RE: BS: Taking Humberage From: smallpiper Date: 24 Nov 02 - 07:00 AM That's more than one thought Mr O I counted at least 3 and is that wise at this time of day - see your doctor! You don't want to reach burn out before you play at The Sun in Beverley tonight 9 which is not in Hull). And then of course there is Rogers and Deanies session at the Sun this artanoon - bear9hoi could be consummed in great quantities..... or will all of this lead to people having appopoletctic fits of Humberage? |

Subject: RE: BS: Taking Humberage From: greg stephens Date: 24 Nov 02 - 06:57 AM In the course of human history certain places seem to generate incredible forms of energy: all thought seems to concentrate in one tightly focussed area. Jerusalem for religion, Vienna and New Orleans for music, Stoke for cups and saucers, for example. Which is why I started the "John from Hull/the Baptist"thread. Hull is obviously another such place right now, and Mudcat is where we can hear about it. But the trouble is, what is the new message? It is confusing and troubling. There is clearly something here for mankind, but what exactly is it? |

Subject: BS: Taking Humberage From: Oaklet Date: 24 Nov 02 - 06:49 AM I have just read Mr Red's post to the jOhn in Hull/John the Baptist thread and after I regained concsiousness, I got to thinking that "Taking Humberage" is exactly the emotion that leads to vitriolic protests about the sheer volume of Hull threads. A big thanks to Mr Red for the laugh. Could this be the perfect thread to which pro-Hull chatter and anti-Hull chatter can be posted so that it can be ignored by those of a sensitive disposition? Only a thought9. |
