Subject: RE: Tech: Momma(.com) don't got no 'folk music!' From: GUEST,Bill Date: 07 Dec 02 - 06:02 AM If you type song"title of song" in this format on google then search it works rather well I have only failed once and that was for a theme tune in an American war time musical. Bill (the sound) |

Subject: Tech: Momma(.com) don't got no 'folk music!' From: GUEST,Wanda Scream Date: 06 Dec 02 - 06:49 PM I put this under "Tech." because it pertains to internet search engines. I was trying to find a particular Christmas folk song / Christmas carol via google, ask.com, and momma.com and I got nowhere with either of the first two. When I went to momma.com, I found under "music genres" the categories listed here. Not only no "Christmas music" or "Holiday music," but NO "Folk music" category, either! What is this cyber world coming to?? |
