Subject: RE: BS: Holiday greetings(bbc) From: bbc Date: 21 Dec 02 - 07:02 PM Yes, kat, I am--still working w/ drilled stones & shells. I donate several pieces each year to the auction at my school & have 1 colleague who loves my work & faithfully buys it. I have a very small, but devoted group of customers. Mostly, I enjoy making for myself! :) best to you, dear, Barbara |

Subject: RE: BS: Holiday greetings(bbc) From: AllisonA(Animaterra) Date: 15 Dec 02 - 08:26 AM Barbara, blessings on your Christmas! I've so enjoyed the few times we've been together, and I look forward to many more! I wish we could sing Christmas carols together, accompanied by autoharp and psaltery- maybe at Old Songs- why not?! Thanks for your warm wishes, and all the best, my dear! |

Subject: BS: Holiday greetings(bbc) From: bbc Date: 14 Dec 02 - 07:18 AM I am sending out my Christmas cards today & reflecting on my life & friends. Mudcat has been a daily part of my life for almost 5 years now (1st post--March 3, 1998) & has enriched my life in many & various ways. I just want to say "thank you!" & to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Blessed Ramadan, Happy Solstice, or, at least, a Happy New Year! I am, primarily, audience & I try to be a good one. I have, in the past years, however, progressed to mildly playing the autoharp &, once in awhile, playing & singing publicly. More than that, though, I think Mudcat has broadened my thinking about music & the world in general. I'm not always happy w/ some of the posts I see on Mudcat, but there is a lot of good still to be gained from it. And the friendships I've made--wow! Thanks, especially, to Max, to Jeff, to Dick Greenhaus & Susan of DT, to Joe Offer,Jeri, & various "elves" whose work makes this experience possible! best of the season, bbc |
