My favorite was S&M Barbie and Ken. Some weird woman constructs miniature dungeons and torture chambers complete with Barbie in black leather and Ken trussed up and ready. Very strange stuff. But she has uncovered a market for it.

I seem to remember seeing a TV piece about a shop owner being persued by Mattell for selling "Trailer Trash" Barbie - apparently most of the doll and accessories were from the "Barbie (& "friends") range (albeit "re-matched" and tailored), but Mattell's lawyers hooked on to the added cosmetics, cigarette, and baby.

there was a chubby barbie whihc was advert for a comsmetic co.
who offered that their products were for real people....
and i think they probably got sued by mattell...
