Yes you can. I use Total Recorder (see my link above), which records anything that comes through your sound card. I've recorded a lot of Internet radio with it.

Not sure ;) ... you don't use the ra player or the windows media, you record and listen via the programme, if i recall correctly. It records as you listen and then you save it to your hard drive as a wav and convert the wav to whatever you want... it's a long time since I used it.
The last time I recorded a live to air program was straight to mini disc via the computer sound output plug.

I can do that. I have a program (free from the Net) that does it... if you want the details email me and I'll send you the url. I have to find it. It has to be done in real time but it works.

I know there have been theads a plenty on this subject, but maybe someone who knows better where they are can help me out?

I especaiily wanna be able to save Real Media Sreaming files to any kind of audio file...

??
