Subject: RE: BS: Meet Your new Military Dicattor From: JennyO Date: 29 Jan 03 - 12:49 AM I agree with you, Little Hawk. Our two major parties here in Australia are Liberal and Labor. Not much difference between them really. They both break promises and misrepresent themselves to get into power, and ultimately, it is only their own interests that they are serving. Unfortunately, the saying is true: The only trouble with voting is that a politician always wins. BTW, the spelling on the thread title - "Dicattor". That's not some new kind of mudcat, is it? Subject: RE: BS: Meet Your new Military Dicattor From: Little Hawk Date: 28 Jan 03 - 10:07 PM "Good cop - bad cop" is exactly the purpose served by the grand old liberal/conservative divide that passes for democracy. It took me decades to realize that, after I gradually came to see that no matter who I voted for, and no matter who won, the hidden oligarchy behind all the parties continued to rule, and our freedoms and our general level of prosperity slowly vanished, a little bit at a time, while the rich got richer and everyone else got poorer. The government people vote for is a mask, like one of those phony western sets they used to use in films. You don't want to see what's behind that mask, cos it is ugly. - LH |

Subject: RE: BS: Meet Your new Military Dicattor From: GUEST Date: 28 Jan 03 - 01:21 PM Thanks. I'm familiar with this site. He used to be a Clinton-basher, a right-wingnut, but now he's bashing Bush. To his credit. Jones points out the left-right paradigm in America and the world is phony. The two sides are playing good-cop/bad-cop to further a globalist agenda. And what we've had appear in America is a command-and-control type of government where all allegiance will be due the Fuehrer. Look at the instrument of this new type of government...NORTHCOM. Pure military. And to help the machine run smoothly, 200 people are to be given room in bunkers for the 'shadow government'...unelected appointees of the Executive Branch. When there is a 'crisis' in America, the military will hit the streets, and 200 people who have no place in the Constitutional line of succession will be the command. That, in brief, is what Sept. 11 accomplished. And this plan wasn't hatched by bin Laden or Hussein. |

Subject: BS: Meet Your Dictator From: GUEST Date: 28 Jan 03 - 12:01 PM (Sept. 11, 2001..the CIA and U.S. military carry out an attack on the U.S. The FAA closed down the air corridors immediately, but the two Generals in charge...Eberhart and Myers...never put interceptor jets in the air): ...The First Air Force Commander then relays this info to The Commander in Chief (CINC) of NORAD. On 9/11, this was Gen. Ralph "Ed" Eberhart.... http://www.democrats.com/view.cfm?id=7706 (April 17, 2002...Announcement that NORTHCOM has been created, turning the U.S. into a warzone for the first time in our history. 350,000 U.S. troops are assigned to NORTHCOM, to be supplemented by NATO and U.N. troops as needed): ...NORTHCOM will join the four other geographic commands -- European Command, Central Command, Southern Command and Pacific Command -- with the power to mobilize troops in support of a military objective, but has one important limitation: U.S. law forbids the American military from operating on U.S. soil.... http://www.upi.com/view.cfm?StoryID=17042002-025410-2852r (July 17, 2002...the General who ordered the interceptor jets to stand down on Sept. 11 argues for 'review' of the Possee Comitatus Act. If that act is repealed, U.S. troops can legally police the streets of America): US Air Force General Ralph E. Eberhart, head of the newly established Northern Command, says he supports giving greater domestic powers to the military in the Bush administration's "war on terrorism." The Northern Command, which will begin operations October 1, will oversee all military personnel flying patrols over American cities, as well as those patrolling waters up to 500 miles off the US coast.... Calling into question Posse Comitatus is among the most sinister elements of Bush's proposals for a new Department of Homeland Security. This review of the 125-year-old law could pave the way for the authorities to more easily establish martial law, wiping out basic civil liberties of citizens and non-citizens alike. The Bush administration's assault on Posse Comitatus is consistent with its efforts to weaken the core democratic principle of the subordination of the military to civilian authority.... http://www.wsws.org/articles/2002/jul2002/poss-j23.shtml |
