Just came across this ad in a local newspaper. First Maine Music Festival, October 16, 17, 18 2003. 3 nights; 25 clubs; 75 bands.

There is a contest and the winners will be performing at clubs and festivals across USA and Canada. $1000 First Prize.

To enter:
Submit entry form with $20 and a non-returnable CD or tape with at least two ORIGINAL SONGS by March 1st. Categories include acoustic, blues and country along with the usual noise.

Nowhere does it say that this is limited to Maine musicians. Any takers? I will gladly get you a copy of the Entry Form which simply asks for your band's name and # of players, your manager's name, type of music and contact info.
