Subject: RE: Tech: teddybear virus From: Stilly River Sage Date: 21 Feb 03 - 01:50 PM Visit this page at Symantec. The site includes this remark: "The Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java (Jdbgmgr.exe) is only used by Microsoft Visual J++ 1.1 developers. If you follow the e-mail message instructions and delete this file, you do not have to recover it unless you use Microsoft Visual J++ 1.1 to develop Java programs on Windows XP, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 98, or Windows 95." Subject: Tech: teddybear virus From: Eric the Viking Date: 21 Feb 03 - 01:40 PM Hiya all. It would seem I've got the "teddybear" virus. (jdbgmgr.exe). Norton can't find it, but the icon is there when I search in explorer. Any help, greatly appreciated! It does things to your address book and then your contacts it seems? |
