And, he's not always grumpy, but someone has to fulfill the role of Resident Curmudgeon!

Hi MJOB,

Try using
Google.com
for searches. Just pick a phrase and put it in double quotes, e.g.

"I've been searching for a man of glory" lyrics

If you do a search for

lyrics

then you will also find a lot of really good lyric sites.

This is a folk & blues site, but welcome! And there are a lot of very knowledgable and nice people here, so just take grumpy BillD's comments in your stride. ;->

Helen

It's called "He Said" and I found the lyrics here -- page down til you get to the right song.

(And some of us folkies aren't so cranky.)

Claire

The begining of the song starts out
I was helping dress a boy
I like to play with my toys
I just watch T.V.   - or something like that. Later on the song says
I went to the beach
Saw a man there, he looked disturbed
I asked him whats the matter
he said i looked like someone he once knew
One glance at this guy,
i could tell he couldn't tell a lie    - thats sorta a rough edge of how it goes... The refrain/chorus goes
I've been searching for a man of glory
I've told a million stories
If you'd just listen to me.    - I know thats the chorus/refrain or whatever u call it. At about 3 minute mark xylophones go on. Its a fast paced rock type song. Please help!
