Written by Ted Daffan. I have this on vinyl somewhere, I think by Ernest Tubb on an old Vocalion reissue. This was one of my standards in the 60s but I haven't played the song or the record in 30 years.

I have exhausted my knowledge trying to find the lyrics to this tune so now I'm asking one of you more knowledgeable to help me find the lyrics.I believe Roy Acuff did this and probably several others.All I can remember is.
To many sweethearts and none of them true
To many things that I didn't do
Drinking and gambling both night and day
Heading down the wrong highway
