Subject: RE: Guy Tortora at Stoney S this Sat From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 25 Apr 03 - 04:24 AM Of course! I realise why none of the Beds/Bucks 'Catters have responded to this. Guy's drummer played shaky egg on a couple of numbers when they were in Ascot so they probably ran him out of town in SS! RtS (or his evil twin- who's never played shaky egg but just let me get me thimbles on.......) |

Subject: RE: Guy Tortora at Stoney S this Sat From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 18 Apr 03 - 05:34 AM A great evening (at Ascot). One worrying feature, both Fran Leslie who edits one of the UK blues magazines AND Guy both felt they'd met me before. I thought I might have an evil twin. Guy suggested I might be the evil twin! If you missed him in SS: SHAME! RtS |

Subject: Guy Tortora at Stoney S this Sat From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 10 Apr 03 - 04:06 AM I'm going to see Guy Tortora, California-born slide guitarist & his band at Jagz tonight (I was there last night as well for Henry Lowther's Miles Davis-esq workshop bands from Richmond Adult Community College -13 musicians, 9 in the audience!) and I see from his gig guide that he's at the Fox and Hounds, Stoney Stratford, Bucks this Saturday 12th so Steve P, Julie B & others get on down there!
