No hard dates in June yet, Bet -- we surely are not that organized!--but we had a fine ole jam today. The guys revealed an old three-part harmony they had once worked out on atune called "Fox on the Run" that was really impressive. We got pleasant remarks from a buncha passers-by and generally made that welkin do the ring-a-ding, which is always fun. Nothing I am fonder of than a well-rung welkin, you betchum.

I will be largely out of touch until the first week in June due to field testing. By the 5-6 June I should be back in normal op.

Glad to see you are all still trying to get together. I'll be in and out of that area all summer so will keep an eye out for the gatherings. Turned out just perfect, except for all th eno-shows -- the bass player the flu, the second banjo didn't show up, and the guitar player (Bear) had a daughter come in to town so he couldn't make the scene. But Banjoest and I just picked our wee fingers off and had a grand ole time. With some help from Mister Bushmill.

Enjoyed it a lot!!

There will ba a "Balboa Park" jam on the 13th of April, 2003 It will be at the "Reflecting Pond" just south of the zoo. Jam starts around noon.
