I'm singing lead on #2) Hilcrest Mine and #6) Homeland...

Foolproof? That'd leave you and me out of the whole thing, no?

:-)

Brilliant Clinton. I shall paste it on the CD (twice) and which songs are you singing? (the NUMBER of the cut!) I should know by now....but next week Heather has insisted on "Foolproof"!

We'll try again.

Rick

Rick,

Can you tell me the CD that Chris Quinn's Lonesome Road Blues is from?

Perhaps in the future Rick will play 'Rebecca's Lament', which is perhaps Track 6 or 8. (And I still liked TWoTAM!)

Hi Seamus, if I'd known you were listening.......I'd have baked a cake! Or at least played a cut.

Thanks for listening folks, and for the support...as fundraising shows go it was actually FUN! I didn't have any psychotic incidents, make any reallly bad jokes, or criticize a sponsor (!!)

Glad you liked the Harvey Andrews music.

Sorry Clinton. From the interview studio I jot down the tracks to play. Wrote down CUT 7, as listed on the back of the Celtic Cross CD (Rebecca's Lament) which Heather played. Apparently on the CD, cut 7 is The Wreck of the Anna Marie....strange. I tried the CD on another player with the same result. Seems to be a typo or programming glitch. Oh well....you got a great introduction anyway!

Rick

Oh.. Then I need to clear some stuff up...

That was The Wreck Of The Anna Maria... and that wasn't me... That was Mark Crampsie singing...

On the CD that Rick has, I only sing lead on 2 tracks...

Shipwreck - Annaree or something. (Sorry - I should have written down some of the lyrics.)

I was impressed with Harvey, but I have been whenever I've heard him. It was the first time I've heard Clinton, I believe.

I didn't hear the whole show, but I heard Clinton and Harvey, I was impressed with both of them.

I don't know if Chris Quinn drops in here from time to time, but the rendition he does of Earl's Lonesome Roab Blues is astounding. What CD is that from Rick?

Yea, he does! The 888 # from the US does work, at least from Colorado...1-888-204-8976. Harvey sounded great, too. Younger than on the cd!

With all of the iron-ee, there shouldn't be a wrinkle in the joint!

Heather's now known as BEET LIPS.

Rick won't say "gimme money," but if you call 1-416-946-7800, they'll sure take it. They've got a toll free number that either doesn't work from the US or only works when you dial all of the digits correctly. Or you can give at their web page. I think $25 CA works out to less than the cost of a cup of coffee in the US. Or something like that.

Yup, if the Real Audio's on, these two Mudcatters will get a few spins tonight.

Show starts at 7pm Toronto time as usual. If someone can throw a blue clicky, I'd appreciate it.

Fundraising as well....Yeuchhhhh, so if ya wanna kick in a tener or so it won't be refused, ha ha......but ya sure don't need to!

Harvey's a wonderful old friend and a superb wordsmith. Clinton.....well he's our regular curmudgeon (but it's an act folks!) and a fine singer.

Cheers

Rick
