A truly lovely performance by the young Jean Redpath on the LP "Jean Redpath's Scottish Ballad Book," ca 1961 and unfortunately never issued on CD.

Hello everyone,

I have a question for you all. My roommate is singing an old(?) folk song called "The Trees, They Grow So High." for her voice lessons and it turns out that none of us (including her teacher) know anything about the song at all. Any help? All we have to go on is the title. It's a sweet little song and once she gets back from class I'll type up the lyrics in case that helps. Thank you all!
