Subject: Grand Canyon Line. Any info? From: RoyH (Burl) Date: 29 Apr 03 - 12:03 PM I have vague memories of a song I heard in the 1950's, or even late 40's. The opening line was 'On The Grand Canyon Line I Was Riding Along'. Another line said 'Couldn't go back to (forgotten place name) 'cos I know I'd done wrong'. I've a feeling Burl Ives sang it but it was a long time ago and my memory of it is very hazy. Any information anybody? Burl. |
