Subject: The Buffalo Range In Achiltibui From: Sandy Date: 05 Aug 98 - 05:22 AM Another song I heard at a session in Dingwall during the folk festival. The chorus and verses I know are: Oh, the pies are fine and the meats quite chewy, On the Buffalo range in Achiltibui, Run by big Neil and wee Hughy, Home on the range. Oh in Achiltibui ye canny gang far, Wi'oot a buffalo running right into your car, especially if you've been in the Fruirin bar, Home on the range. Oh in Achiltibui all ye can see, Are wild buffalo all roaming free, Wi' a grant frae the HIDB, Home on the range. If anyone knows the other verses I'd be really grateful. Cheers. Sandy |
