Will do Breezy, I'm looking forward to it immensely.

That's a shame, Popey somothertime!

'Too many' long sad songs does tend to imply a negative criticism but I hadn't really noticed myself. However, everytime is different at Barton.

The thing with a singaround is that it is the individuals present which make it, with each contributing as much as any other so everyone has an equal chance to take it which way they want - true democracy in action. I think it is a unique, highly valuable and empowering experience. So if the observer didn't like what he heard he should join in with something short and happy.

A bit over 50 words, do I still get my credits?

Piers

Thanks Piers

Sorry I didn't say anything on my last thread - I pressed the wrong button

Story of my life really

An observer of our session said we sang too many long sad songs

Do you think this is a positive criticism

Discuss in 50 words - 3 credits towards your folk degree

I must admit, I do find myself nodding off sometimes when too much grief is fluted

All acoustic instruments & voices very welcome at this cosy venue and we're always glad to see new faces.
