Does anyone have the 'proper' chords for this great song? I heard it butchered the other night, and I'd like to learn the proper version.

It is called "The Rough with the Smooth" and it is by Steve Ashley. Paul Downes and Phil Beer recorded it on their live album.

does any one know the full words and who wrote this. it was a song i heard about 20years ago in a folk club in Sunderland ( happy days)

it go's something like.
"what a summer we had the weathers been bad
and it looks like were in for some more
whilist its good for me pees its bad for my knees O how it makes them so raw "

another line go's "my daughters been good shes done what she could....."
