Pity the Irish lady in question had to wait for the session to be officially finished before finally bursting into song...

For Catters in range who don't know it already, The Cock at Castle Camps (Cambridge, near Herts/Essex/Cambs border) is host to a round the room session on the last Monday of every month. This month it was a week early to avoid the bank holiday, and there won't be one in August, but otherwise it's on the expected dates.

In its present form this is a new regular session - last night was the second occurrence.

As no-one else sems to have posted a report - am happy to record that last nights Cock was excellent (The ladies of the Darts Team will attest to this)and bore the stamp of authenticity - a genuine tipsy Irish lady & two riggers from Leeds. Nice to see people who aren't dyed-in-the-wool folkies maypoling & enjoying the session.

Next session rumoured to be 30th June. Its worth the trip to Haverhill!
