Within cycling distance .....? Cycling is certainly a good form of transport around the route.

PS Yes. I believe its on Monday 8 Sept this year and it starts with the church service to dedicate the horns at 8am, if I recall correctly (or is it 7.45am?). Let's hope it doesn't rain like last year!

Abbotts Bromley Horn Dance, Staffordshire, Uk

My late father and I cycled an 70 mile round trip to watch this when I was 15., and I want to revisit.
I know ( I think!) it takes place on the first Monday after the first Sunday after Sept 4th, (are you still with me!).

What I want to know, is wheres the best place to stop for the night before and the night after!

Plenty of time for replies....even long enough for me to cycle there, from Nottingham!
