Subject: Masters of American Music From: Mark Clark Date: 23 Jul 03 - 06:45 PM Saw a great program last night on the BET-Jazz channel, two hours of blues history with a lot of video clips I'd never see before. The program was part of a series called Masters of American Music but I think the series was originally produced in the UK around ten years ago and called The History of Jazz. Did others catch this program? I assume it's aired before. I tried to get details from the BET Web site but they don't seem to carry detailed content about their programming. I searched the Web and came up with a DVD called Bluesland. Is this the same program? The length is about right when you add commercials. If this is the one, any blues fan will want to see this. - Mark |
