Subject: RE: Seeking chord progressions From: dick greenhaus Date: 24 Aug 98 - 01:07 PM Hi- There's a shareware program--ABCMUS--that will do a quite presentable job of setting chords. It will read SongWright files, which are what you get when you download the DT databa |

Subject: RE: Seeking chord progressions From: folk1234 Date: 24 Aug 98 - 12:47 PM Thanks for the response, Joe. You're correct, and a BMT/Folk Legacy fan, and I'm working up a set of songs from foreign lands for our (the Oklahoma City Traditional Music Association)song swap on 5 Sep. I already have The Gordon Bok song book - none of these are in it. |

Subject: RE: Seeking chord progressions From: Joe Offer Date: 21 Aug 98 - 03:00 PM Hi, Phillip - Sounds like you've been listening to Bok, Muir, and Trickett. Folk-Legacy Records (Click Here) has a Gordon Bok songbook that may have some or all of those songs. Check their Web site, or call them at 800-836-0901. If you call them, I'm sure they'll be glad to tell you what's in the book. They're really nice about stuff like that. But maybe somebody here can give you chord ideas. -Joe Offer- |
