Yes! There's clubs & sessions happening all the time.

There are a number of clubs, 3 run by Mudcatters (me, JennyO & Alison), lots of sessions & there's also a great little festival at Jamberoo, a couple of hours to the south 10-14th September.

My club is on 4th Saturdays (Loaded Dog), Jenny's 1st Thursdays (North by NorthWest) & Alison's 4th Fridays (Toongabbie)- the first 2 are only a few kms from the CBD & the 3rd is further out.

I'm going to Australia for the first time and am looking to find good sessions, festivals and venues for folk music. Anyone got anything or anyplace to recomend?

Will be arriving in Sydney on August 17th and leaving on September 18th, but haven't planned much in between.
